The location was favourable and excellent, not too far from Red River Fish Market. The breakfast was more than adequate, a wide range of food. Most of the staffs were efficient and amiable.

Lovely old and newly decorated hotel in a DECENT position by nice restaurants. Knowledgeable staff members, nicely furnished and brand-new rooms with good mattresses, airco, good WiFi. Location near Salvador for several nights, and a town square for friendly locals.

I had a great stay at this hotel located in a lively neighborhood with plenty of good restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel had a beautiful design featuring lots of plants, wood and open spaces. The staff was very friendly and efficient, providing helpful recommendations and tips to beat the traffic. The location was excellent, right next to everything in the local square.
Didn't dislike anything about the property.

This hotel was a great find for our stay in Salvador. the location is fantastic, situated in the coolest neighborhood of Rio Vermelho and just a short distance from nearby beaches. We loved being able to explore the historical center of Pelorinho via Barra, thanks to the hotel's convenient location. Secondly, the staff at this hotel were friendly and attentive, always ready to help and provide valuable information about the local area. Finally, the rooms were adorned with interesting art, giving them a unique and creative touch. we were very pleased with the value for money, attention to detail, and the delicious breakfast served each morning.
All aspects of our stay at this hotel were more than satisfactory.

We really loved the neighborhood, a bit away from the hustle and bustle of main city and close to beach bus route. Great restaurants and clubs. The service was perfect, so caring and helpful. The desk during the day spoke English and went out of their way to make good suggestions and keep us safe. The artwork was amazing. We toured Cravo's park and workshop after seeing all his sculpture and paintings at the hotel. Wished we could have met the proprietor as we expect they would have been interesting folks given the beauty of the restoration they accomplished. Everyday we discovered something new in the hotel. Particularly enjoyed the breakfast service. The ladies were so cute and brought us eggs as we liked them. Coffee service in the afternoon when we returned from the beaches or the city was perfect before our naps and preparation for a night out. All great!
Very noisy at night and in the early morning. That was a bummer but I brought earplugs that helped quite a bit.

I recently stayed at Hotel Catharina Paraguacu for three nights and it was a delightful experience. The vintage charm of the well-preserved building instantly won me over. The room and bathroom were lovely, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I particularly enjoyed the breakfasts, which were delicious and satisfying. The hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to the beach and vibrant civic squares where I could immerse myself in the local culture and enjoy affordable meals. The small balcony in my room offered a beautiful seaside view, adding to the overall charm of the stay.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The attitude of all the staff. The fact the hotel is built in and around a 19th century mansion.

Great Location and Friendly Staff
We spent our Easter break in this hotel and were pleased with how central and convenient its location is, right in the heart of the town. The hotel is located near the best restaurants in town and it is easy to walk around. , the staff were friendly and welcoming, always willing to assist with our needs.
The room was quite small, with hardly any natural light. the room amenities were outdated and not very clean.
